Currently accepting 2010 and 2011 applicants.
It is well known that often homebirth midwives must supplement income and we hope to offer solutions by teaching and certifying our students in complementary modalities for midwives, healers, and doulas.
We offer a 6 month course and a 12 month course in complementary modalities. Some of the topics covered are,
· Reiki (6 month course study reaching level 2) Level 3 is scheduled with individual students and instructor.
· Herbology (6 & 12 month course study)
· Reflexology
· Belly dance
· Art therapy and casting
· Chiropractics for pregnancy and infants
· Acupuncture
· Reflexology
· Essential oils
· Infant massage
· Massage for physically impaired and toddlers
· Meditation
· Massage therapy
· Homeopathy
· Bach remedies
These offer tools and some certification options for the student to expand their opportunity for income and expanding their tools to compliment their midwifery practice.
